We all know that our parents love us but do we realize that God loves us too? His love goes way past the moon and back. He's the one that made that moon! Did you know that "God's great big love letter" called the bible,
tells you just how far God's love goes? The best story book ever written is actually true!
God has shown this love through his son Jesus! YOU have a friend that will never leave your side.
Jesus loves you so much that he would get beat up for you, so that you could go free!
Think about this...
When we misbehave our parents usually get mad at us. This makes us feel really sad inside. After getting in trouble and getting punished, that bad feeling goes away. It feels good when our parents aren't angry with us anymore!
A very long time ago the very first man God made (Adam) did something wrong towards God. Although it happened through one man- we all became guilty. But Jesus took the blame. Since that one man (Jesus) did everything right, it's like we all did everything right.
Instead of us getting into trouble, Jesus did. Jesus did this because He loved us! The bible says in John 3:16,
"For God so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have eternal life".
The bible tells us that God is no longer angry with our sin- all of our bad behavior!
Even though we've all done bad things, God has forgiven us. It feels really good knowing that God is not mad at us. :)
God loves us so much he gave us a life that goes on forever!
